DreamBIG Children’s Festival 2017 is designed to allow you to build a whole day of diverse, creative, curriculum-based experiences. Explore the city of Adelaide’s best cultural precincts as you move from one venue to the next – session times are planned to allow you to make the easy walk from one location to another. Why not sample a little bit of everything this year!

DreamBIG Children’s Festival hub is at Adelaide Festival Centre, which is situated on the banks of the River Torrens in the heart of Adelaide’s CBD, on King William St, with performances also located around Adelaide and specific regional performances for schools.

Getting to the Festival

We do not want the cost of transport to prevent you from bringing your students to the festival!

Free transport by train or tram
Receive free train and tram for any school travelling to and from festival events between 9.30am - 3pm. Travel before 9.30am is subject to you notifying Adelaide Metro.

Any equity school that can’t access the train or tram, therefore making a visit prohibitive, can enquire at DreamBIG.regional@adelaidefestivalcentre.com.au for assistance. Title the email TRANSPORT ASSISTANCE. Subject to availability.

Any non-equity school that can’t use the train or tram and needs to use an alternative form of transport that would make their visit prohibitive, can request equity price tickets when booking. Subject to availability. We suggest you act early and quickly on this one.

Bus parking
School bus parking will be available during weekdays at the Torrens Parade Ground subject to limitations that might arise once the AFL fixtures are announced. Please check with us.
