DreamBIG Children’s Festival is all about building children and young people's confidence in their own creativity.

What better way to do this than to celebrate their work through a series of school and community events.

If your school is planning a performance, parade, DreamBIG assembly, art show or similar event during DreamBIG Children’s Festival 2017, then we would love to hear from you.

Please email DreamBIG@adelaidefestivalcentre.com.au with the subject line “Over to you” and include:

  • a short paragraph of information about the event. Include details such as the date, venue, time and how many students were involved
  • the teacher’s name, school and contact details
  • supporting photos and/or videos attached

Information on how to submit videos and photos can be found here.

Teachers are respectfully reminded to ensure students have parent/caregiver consent as appropriate. Any student's work submitted for sharing on the internet must be accompanied with a copy of the completed DECD/DreamBIG Consent Form eg photos, images, written comments, work samples, artworks. The originals should be kept in your school.

For further information about use of student work or images go to the DECD website (requires DECD log-in) or contact Sharyn Schell, DECD Manager, Arts Projects (including DreamBIG) on DECD.DreamBIG@sa.gov.au or call 08 8226 2072.

Alternatively, post the information on a USB to DreamBIG Children’s Festival, Adelaide Festival Centre, GPO Box 1269, Adelaide SA 5001.

We’ll post your upcoming event details and photos from events online so you can share in each other’s activities across the state
