Adelaide Youth Strings (part of Adelaide Youth Orchestras)
Adelaide Youth Orchestras are celebrating their 20th year of supporting the next generation of musicians in South Australia. Auditioning yearly, Adelaide Youth Orchestras organisation umbrellas five orchestras and eight chamber ensembles with over 270 members between the ages of 8 and 24. Adelaide Youth Strings (Conducted by Martin Butler OAM) is a primary level string orchestra of emerging youth musicians aged 8 to 13 years, and are excited to be performing at the Big Family Weekend Concert. Australian Classical Youth Ballet
The Australian Classical Youth Ballet aims to give young dancers professional performance experiences within appropriate, supportive, and encouraging ethics and values. Performing snippets from Alice in Wonderland, the Australian Classical Youth Ballet will take to the Festival Theatre stage.
Fusion Beats Dance, one of Adelaide's most unique and vibrant Bollywood dance schools, will bring together some of their youngest performers to present some of their favourite Bollywood numbers. Read more about Fusion Beats here.
CircoBATS is a community-based circus school in Black Forest with a focus on inclusivity. They cater for all ages, genders and abilities, and go by the mantra that circus is for any body with any body! From the circus school to the Performance Troupe, CircoBats has no limitations.
