This is an interactive exhibition with an access all areas pass into the creative mind of award-winning South Australian author Phil Cummings.

From his first book, Goodness Gracious! to his latest award-winning picture book, Boy, Phil’s career has spanned 30 years and more than 60 publications. He continues to enchant, entertain and engage young readers today.

Exhibition

Compiled from the State Library collections as well as Phil’s personal materials and manuscripts, this exhibition is a rare opportunity to discover the secrets and stories behind Phil’s approach to the creative process of writing.

Schools Program | Years: R–7

Your State Library holds in its collection many of the secrets and stories of award winning South Australian author, Phil Cummings, from books through to copies of his original manuscripts. This free, interactive schools program will give learners invaluable insight into the writing process and inspire them to create their own literary responses. Video conference opportunities will be on offer for regional schools. Times arranged when booking.
