A fun and interactive songwriting workshop with celebrated singer-songwriter and Barkindji woman, Nancy Bates.

Considered by Archie Roach as one of Australia's finest singer-songwriters, Nancy Bates is also an experienced workshop facilitator. A Barkindji woman with mixed heritage, she cares deeply about the two stories that have shaped the history of our country. This in-school workshop provides students with an invaluable opportunity to compose an original song with an experienced singer-songwriter, whilst also sharing hope for a reconciled Australia.
